Reece has partnered with Greenbank Environmental to support trade customers to price and process renewable energy certificates confidently, easily and efficiently.
In a bid to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and boost renewable energy, the Australian Government introduced the Renewable Energy Target (RET). To meet this goal, federal and state governments have created incentives and certificate schemes to encourage homeowners and businesses to adopt energy-efficient technologies.
Claiming the rebates associated with these energy efficient installs can be difficult without help, involving paperwork and eligibility criteria. Rebate prices can fluctuate, and government policies can change, effecting rebate programs. To simplify this process for our trade customers, Reece has partnered with Greenbank Environmental, a leader in rebate processing for over two decades.
With Greenbank, our Plumbing and HVAC-R customers can streamline the requirements through digitised paperwork, gain a clear understanding of available incentives for confident quoting, and receive swift payment.
Mark Young from Reece said, “Navigating rebate schemes can be complex, but our partnership with Greenbank simplifies this process. Greenbank helps our customers easily access information and incentives for eligible heat pump hot water units, cold rooms, freezer rooms, and air-conditioning, maximising the benefits from available schemes.”
Customers who become registered Greenbank Installers can easily access the rebates that are available for installing heat pumps purchased from Reece.
The Greenbank partnership will support our Plumbing, Refrigeration and HVAC customers to access relevant rebates for heat pump hot water units, eligible cold room systems and air-conditioning.
Matt from MDB Plumbing said “the process of claiming is easy, Greenbank are very thorough, it was only five business days and then I was paid!”
At this stage, those certificates include:
• National: Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs).
• Victoria: Victorian energy efficiency certificates (VEECs).
• NSW: Energy Saving Certificates (ESCs).
Signing up and using Greenbank is free. To find out more, customers can visit the Greenbank landing page or speak directly to their local branch manager.
