Two years ago, we made our partnership with Nightingale Housing official, bringing together a shared commitment to improving access to sustainable, high-quality homes across Australia. Today, that partnership is continuing to grow, with our work coming to life in Umarkoo Wayi, Nightingale’s latest community on Sydney Road in Coburg.

Nightingale Housing is a not-for-profit organisation focused on building homes for people, not profit. Their model centres on delivering housing that is environmentally, socially and financially sustainable, with homes sold to owner-occupiers and community housing providers rather than investors.
Umarkoo Wayi is now complete, bringing Nightingale’s latest community to life on Sydney Road in Coburg. The project has also been recognised at the 2026 Victorian Architecture Awards in the Multiple Housing category.
Like all Nightingale developments, the apartments have been designed with community, sustainability and day-to-day living in mind. The building is all-electric, highly efficient, and includes shared spaces that support connection between residents.

A big part of delivering on that vision is choosing fixtures that are practical, durable and aligned to these principles. For this project, we worked with the Nightingale team to bring Sussex tapware into apartments, alongside Wolfen Ambulant products in the shared ground floor bathroom used by residents and commercial tenants.

These selections reflect the different ways the building is used day to day. Sussex tapware provides a water-efficient, durable solution for private living spaces, while the Wolfen Ambulant range supports accessibility and ease of use in shared areas.
Together, they support how people live in and share the building day to day.

James Senior, Partnerships Manager and Nighthale Housing said "We're proud to partner with Reece, a trusted Australian brand backed by a strong network of suppliers. Their commitment to quality helps us deliver the high standard of homes and living our residents expect."
Umarkoo Wayi shows what’s possible when those priorities align. This partnership with Nightingale reflects a shared focus on delivering housing that is practical, sustainable and built around how people live.
