Practical Support for Bushfire Recovery in Pomonal

For communities recovering from natural disasters, practical support can make a real difference and help them take those first steps to rebuild. We saw this firsthand with those impacted by Victorian bushfires in February 2024.

For communities recovering from natural disasters, practical support can make a real difference and help them take those first steps to rebuild. We saw this firsthand with those impacted by Victorian bushfires in February 2024.

Working alongside the Pomonal Progress Association, the Reece Foundation supported five families impacted by the bushfires with water tanks and associated infrastructure to help them with their recovery.

Across two days, the incredible crew from Reliable Plumbing generously volunteered their time and skills to install the tanks, bringing renewed energy and momentum to the process.

Thank you to Bushmans Tanks for their support in providing access to the tanks and helping make this project possible.

Local communities, volunteers and partners all played a part, and five families now have the water infrastructure they need to move forward.
