This year Actrol celebrates 40 years of partnership with Tecumseh.  

Back in 1984, Actrol signed an exclusive supplier agreement with Tecumseh – a global leader in refrigeration technology.

Tecumseh’s partnership with Actrol ensures units are designed, tried, and rigorously tested to meet the specific requirements of the Australian and New Zealand markets. 

As an exclusive brand distributed by Actrol in Australia and New Zealand, all Tecumseh products undergo additional quality testing at the Reece National Distribution Centre before they are released to the market. 

Brandon Whitfield, Tecumseh product specialist at Actrol, said: “We spend a lot of time making sure our products are going to work the way they are intended. Our products are tested before they leave the Tecumseh  factory, and again when they arrive at the [Reece Testing] Lab.” 

Tecumseh products are built with exact, specified components to best optimise performance and reliability. The compressors are world renowned for their high-grade black steel casing and unique curved shell. The suction and discharge muffler design ensures reductions in both noise and vibration.
